It is proposed that various amendments be made to the 2014 EIA Regulations (GN R982 of 4 December 2014). A new regulation, regulation 54A, is proposed to be inserted, regulating transitional provisions related to prospecting or exploration of a mineral or petroleum resource or extraction and primary processing of a mineral or petroleum resources.
The following listed activities are proposed to be amended:

GN R985 of 4 December 2014, together with its appendix with listed activities, are proposed to be repealed and replaced by the Schedule in this notice. Reference to listed notice 4 will be removed and regulations pertaining to transitional provisions will be added relating to actions conducted under GN R985 of 4 December 2014. This Listing Notice will be called Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations Listing Notice 3 of 2015. Members of the public are invited to submit to the Minister, within 30 days after the publication of the notice in the Gazette, written comments or inputs to the addresses specified in the notice.
