Inputs for the future changes to ISO 14001:2015

As part of the process to ensure that the ISO standards remain current, focused on risk and aligned with future challenges, opportunities and risks, the ISO technical committee is conduct a worldwide survey to obtain the views and inputs from organizations for consideration.

As the Chairman of the ISO technical committee on environmental management (TC2017) in South Africa, I have been tasked to obtain feedback from a Southern African point of view. As Africa only submitted 6 surveys during the previous survey in 2012, we want to ensure that our needs, expectation, risk and opportunities are also considered in the revision.

I therefore would like to request you or members of your organisation to participate in this global survey to ensure that the Southern African context is considered and represented. The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and can be access through this link – https://rit.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ezWLovidsdRn7Lw

The Closing date for the survey is 13 November 2021.

Apart from your participation, please feel free to contact me or any of the Shangoni team if there are any aspects linked to the development, implementation of auditing of your management system against the requirements of any of the ISO standards.
