The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries intends to declare a list of particular trees “Champion Trees” as provided for in Section 12 (1) (a) and (b) of the National Forests Act, 1998. The list published in the Schedule of the notice includes new nominations that will form part of the existing list of declared Champion Trees once published.
Members of the public are invited to submit their written comments on the proposed list within 60 days of the publication of this notice. For a copy of the notice click here
