The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, published the draft Minimum Information Requirements for the Exploration and Production of Onshore Petroleum Using Fracturing Technology, Revision 0, October 2025 in terms of section 24(5)(h) of the NEMA for public comments.

 

These draft Minimum Information Requirements are published simultaneously with, and are intended to support, the proposed Regulations for the Exploration and Production of Onshore Petroleum Using Fracturing Technology, 2025.

 

Members of the public are invited to submit comments on or before 8 December 2025.
