Commencing date: 31 July 2026
The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, in terms of section 47C of the NEMAQA, granted condonation to identified stakeholders to submit for approval, and/or to finalise the approval of their Dust Management Plans as required in terms of regulations 6(1), 6(2), 6(5), 6(6), 10(1) and 10(2) of the National Dust Control Regulations, GNR 7335 of 31 March 2026 (“NDCR”). This condonation is valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of publication in the Government Gazette (i.e. 31 January 2027)
The Notice applies to identified stakeholders, air quality officers and licencing authorities under the NDCR.
