The Minister of Employment and Labour, under section 43 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No. 85 of 1993, as amended), amended the Physical Agents Regulations, GNR 5952 on 6 March 2025.
Amendments related to the following:
- Regulation 3 relating to information, instruction and training;
- Table 2: Occupational exposure limits for electromagnetic fields;
- Table 4: Minimum maintained average illuminance values for interior workplaces; and
- Table 6: Minimum maintained average illuminance values for exterior workplaces.
