SHANGONI AQUISCIENCE INTRODUCE GEOCHEMICAL SERVICES TO ITS RANGE OF SERVICES

Shangoni Management Services is excited to announce the further development of Shangoni AquiScience, its groundwater and technical division. This division expanded by incorporating geochemical services to its range of specialist hydrogeological services.

This exciting expansion allows for the following to be added to the Shangoni AquiScience list of services:
• Acid potential and leachate quality prediction
• Geochemical speciation and modelling
• Waste classification of mine residue deposits (SANS10234)
• Mineral waste assessments and impact studies related to liner requirements (GNR635)
• Physical and chemical characterisation of mine residue deposits (GNR632)
• Soil pollution and contaminated land assessments (GN331)
• Soil baseline studies

This new development broadens the already extensive range of services rendered to the clients of Shangoni AquiScience in the mining and non-mining industries. Such services include:
• Groundwater Impact Assessments as support to Water Use Licence and Mining Right Applications and Environmental Management Plans
• Numerical Groundwater Modelling
• Geophysical investigations for siting of monitoring boreholes and for water provision
• Aquifer testing to determine sustainable yield and hydraulic parameters
