Notice is hereby given in terms of the Bioprospecting, Access and Benefit Sharing Amendment Regulations, 2015 published in the GN 447 in GG 38809 under the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act 10 of 2004 (NEMBA), requesting communities or individuals with traditional knowledge associated with the use of Xeroderris stuhlmanni (Wingpod) and Pseudolachnostylis maprouneifolia (a Kudu-berry) to provide their details together with evidence.

The Department of Environmental Affairs invites communities or individuals who claim to be having traditional knowledge associated with Xeroderris stuhlmanni and Pseudolachnostylis maprouneifolia to submit their names together with evidence in writing within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice to the addresses specified in this notice.
