The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, published her intention to consult on her intention to publish under section 24J of the NEMA the National Guideline for consideration of climate change implications in applications for environmental authorisations, atmospheric emission licenses and waste management licenses.
The purpose of the proposed guideline is to give guidance on the consideration of climate change impacts in the EIA processes linked to EA, WML, and AEL applications.
