The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy published the Draft Amendments to the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Regulations, 2019 (“draft Amendment Regulations”) for public comments.
The Draft Amendment Regulations provides, inter alia, for the deletion of certain sections of the environmental regulations provided in Part III and Part IV of the current regulations.
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments on the Draft Amendment Regulations to the Minister, within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice (Friday, 27 December 2019). For a copy of the notice click here.
