The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy (‘the Minister”) under section 36(4) of the ERA amended Schedule 2 to the ERA. The amendments relate to amongst other the following:
- the exemption of certain generation and distribution activities from the obligation of licencing and registration
- the exemption of certain generation and distribution activities from licensing, but which must still comply with the Code (Distribution Code, the Transmission Grid Code, or any other Code, approved by the Regulator) and must be registered with the Regulator.
