The City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality (herein after referred to as the “City of Tshwane”), gave notice of the amendments to the City of Tshwane Air Quality Management By-law published under LAN 292 in GPG 66 of 2 March 2022.
The amendments related to the following:
- Addition of certain definitions
- Controlled activities, specifically relating to fuel-burning equipment, spray-painting facilities, as well as sand blasting, shot blasting, grinding, finishing or similar activities; and
- Offences and penalties.
