Commencing date: Comments to be submitted by 21 April 2023

The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (“the Minister”), as required by section 47 of the NEMA intends to amend the Regulations to Prohibit the Production, Distribution, Import, Export, Sale and Use of Persistent Organic Pollutants, GNR 414 of 12 May 2021, and published the proposed amendments for public comment.

The proposed amendments relate to the definition of “listed substances”.
