Commencing date: Comments to be submitted on or before 8 November 2021.
The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (“the Minister”), in terms of sections 99 and 100 of the NEMBA, published the annual quota for hunting and/or export of elephant (Loxodonta Africana), black rhinoceros (Diceros Bicornis) and leopard (Panthera Pardus) hunting trophies for the 2021 calendar year, determined in accordance with sub-regulation 3(2)(k) of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (“CITES”) Regulations, GNR 173 of 2010, for public comments.
