The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, in terms of sections 18(1), 18(3) and 69(1)(b), (g), (i), (I), (o), (dd) and (ee) of the NEMWA, amended the Regulations regarding extended producer responsibility published under GNR 1184 of 5 November 2020.
The purpose of the amendments is to remove the 60-day timeframe to obtain concurrence from the Minister responsible for Finance contained in regulations 7(2) and 7A(2) of GNR 1184.
