NATIONAL FORESTS ACT 84 OF 1998: CONSULTATION ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE REGULATIONS UNDER THE ACT

The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment in terms of sections 53(2)(j), read with section 54 of the NFA, published the proposed amendments to the Regulations under the NFA, GNR 466 of 29 April 2009.
The draft Amendment Regulations were initially published for public comment under GNR 3121 on 8 March 2023, but are being republished due to the substantive changes that have been made after the closure of the initial public comment process.
The proposed amendments are related to:
- Definitions
- The issuing of written notices
- The administration and processing of appeals
