The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (“the Minister”), under section 15(3) of the NFA, published the annual list of all tree species, which are protected under section 12 of the NFA.

How to ensure compliance at my operations?
Employers must take note of the protected status of those identified tree species and assess whether there are any such protected trees on their premises so that the necessary actions may be taken to protect those trees.
