Commencing date: 22 June 2022

The Minister of Health repealed regulations 16A – 16C of the Regulations Relating to the Surveillance and the Control of Notifiable Medical Conditions that were published in terms of section 90(1)(j), (k) and (w) of the NHA on 4 May 2022.

The repealed regulations affect the following:

  • Wearing of face masks in indoor public places and public transports
  • Attendance at gatherings
  • Requirements relating to persons entering the country
