NATIONAL WATER ACT 36 OF 1998: REVISION OF GENERAL AUTHORISATIONS IN TERMS OF SECTION 39 OF THE ACT, FOR WATER USES AS DEFINED IN SECTION21(C) OR SECTION 21(I)

Commencing date: Comments to be submitted by 9 May 2023
The Director-General of the Department of Water and Sanitation, in terms of section 39 of the NWA, published for public comments the revised General Authorisation for:
- section 21(c) – impeding or diverting the flow of water in a watercourse; or
- section 21(i) – altering the bed, banks, course or characteristics of a watercourse.
