So what for my operation?
Once the EAPASA is appointed, no person other than a registered environmental assessment practitioner, may hold primary responsibility for the planning, management, coordination or review of environmental impact assessments and associated environmental management programmes.  The requirement to register applies to officials reviewing and consultants in private practice. Registration will need to take place within two years of the appointment of the Registration Authority.
