The Minister of Employment and Labour has, under section 43(1)(a) and (b) of the OHSA published the General Safety Regulations, 2025 which amends the General Safety Regulations, GNR 1031 of 30 May 1986.
The amendments relate amongst other to the following:
- Amendment of regulation 2 relating to personal safety equipment and facilities,
- Inclusion of regulation 13H relating to housekeeping
- Inclusion of regulation 13I relating to precaution against flooding
- Inclusion of regulation 13J relating to fire precaution and means of egress
