The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (“the Minister”) in terms of sections 72 and 73 of the NEMWA, published the draft Household Hazardous Waste Management Strategy for public comment. The draft Household Hazardous Waste Management Strategy is intended to be a basis for municipalities to build upon, when introducing collection of household hazardous waste.
